Skittles! Skittles! Skittles! We made mosaic art out of this delicious candy. It takes a lot of patience to glue all of the skittles down. Plus it was tempting not to eat them! After completing a couple rows at a time, you could start to see the portrait come together. This took about a week to finish since we only have 90 minute classes.

African Savannah Shadows
Who knew you could make art out of shadows! Yesterday in Art class, we used many different objects and cut-outs to create a shadow picture. My group had a lot of fun coming up with a shadow art picture of African animals you would see on a Safari. I had a lot of fun with this project!
Sleepy Time (zzzzzz)
Last week in Art I, we created a mural out of masking tape inspired by Buff Diss. Each group chose a topic and had to come up with a sketch to express the topic. Once my group decided on a sketch for the topic of "sleep", we practiced using the masking tape on a desk and found a location on the school campus. The next class period we were sent out to design our masking tape art. It took a lot patience and concentration but in the end, the mural turned out to be a success.
